CONSIDERAÇÕES SOBRE ARTETERAPIA NA CONTEMPORANEIDADE E SAÚDE MENTAL

O presente texto traz uma reflexão sobre o papel da Arteterapia na contemporaneidade, em função de seu caráter profissional híbrido, o qual permite um trafegar entre as áreas do conhecimento. Nesse sentido, pensar a Saúde Mental, nesse campo múltiplo, é aceitar as diferenças e focar o trabalho terapêutico que vise o bem - estar, especialmente na demência e na depressão, territórios ainda pouco explorados pela Arteterapia. Além disso, sugere-se uma ampliação do termo Saúde Mental para o de Saúde Psíquica.
